“It’s a truly historic rating for Lithuania, as VU is the first in the country to get into the Top 500 of elite universities in the world. And we do not limit ourselves with this national leadership – our goal is to join the ranks of the best European universities”, – prof. Artūras Žukauskas, VU Rector commented on the latest achievement.

Apart from VU, three more universities of Lithuania – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Kaunas University of Technology, and Vytautas Magnus University participated in the ranking and share lower position – 701+.
