The MBA Entrepreneurship Program at the Vilnius University Business School is a unique program: it is the only MBA program at Vilnius University aimed at developing entrepreneurial rather than general managerial competences. This July the VU Business School awarded diplomas to the very first class of its MBA Entrepreneurship graduates.
“The best thing about MBA Entrepreneurship is certainly the people. I couldn’t ask for a better community in terms of students and faculty. By working with my peers, I have learned something new every week about myself and about diverse ways of thinking. It’s these synergies that have helped me to grow as a person and as a leader. I’m delighted I made the decision to pursue an MBA journey and with the right mind-set I know future students will enjoy and grow from the experience too,” said Vytenis Mockus, young entrepreneur and one of the recent graduates of the MBA Entrepreneurship Program.
Diplomas to the MBA Entrepreneurship graduates were given, during a graduation ceremony, by Amir Maimon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Lithuania, Mariano Andrade Gonzalez, Head of Vilnius Office of the International Capital Markets Company Moody’s, and Dr. Birutė Miškinienė, the VU Business School Director.
“At the beginning of this academic year, at the opening of the MBA Entrepreneurship Program, I said I had a dream: an MBA Program in Entrepreneurship. Now the first graduates of this program are holding diplomas in their hands, and I believe that the role of entrepreneurship in their lives become their style of living, ‘ said the VU Business School Director Dr. Birutė Miškinienė.
