Overview
The “Sustainability and Future Societies” study programme is designed to transform traditional learning by integrating knowledge from sociology, social work, social policy, philosophy, psychology, criminology, management, technology, and AI. This innovative study programme focuses on preparing specialists in social sustainability and change. Students will gain expertise in social responsibility, social innovation or urban development, using cutting-edge methodologies and social theories to analyze demographic trends and develop data-driven solutions. Students will be able to independently formulate a problem on the development of society, and to reasonably select and justify appropriate research methods, create solutions. A key feature of the programme is its international mobility window, offering hands-on learning opportunities abroad, workshops with social partners and practical in-field learning experiences. These elements equip graduates with the skills to create impactful social innovations that foster sustainable, empowered communities. The programme emphasizes sustainable development competencies and a multidisciplinary approach, providing students with international mobility opportunities and practical workshops with businesses and NGOs, the programme offers real-world experience to prepare students for impactful, creative careers in social innovation.
