Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: The gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. University level Bachelor’s degree studies in the fields of Educational Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, Rehabilitation, Nursing and Midwifery, Political Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Anthropology, Management, Human Resource Management and Public Administration. Important: additional country-specific requirements are set only for the following countries which you can find HERE (STEP 2). If your qualification and motivation meet the requirements, you will receive an invitation for an interview with the Admissions Committee. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Translation is considered to be official when it is bound together with the certified true copy of the original document and is confirmed by the translator’s signature. Documents issued in English, Lithuanian must be certified true copies and do not require translation. |

Overview
This study programme is designed to train high-quality social work specialists. During the studies, you will delve into theoretical and practical aspects of social work focussing on individuals with disabilities and older people in the context of ensuring their well-being and their quality of life. Students are introduced to modern social theories, psychology of disability and sociology, social justice, well-being policy and other essential subjects in this sphere.
This is a joint study programme with Open University, Ukraine.
Career opportunities
Social worker. You will be qualified to take up this in-demand position within various organizations. You could further develop your competences by entering a PhD programme.
Work in NGOs. Modern knowledge will enable you to take part in the activities of non-governmental organizations, contribute to social movements, and participate in decisions to solve social issues.
Work in the public sector. You will be able to pursue a career in state, municipal or regional sub-divisions and provide professional social services as well as contribute to the improvement of the social situation in the country.
