Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: the gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. - Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Technological Sciences and Engineering Sciences (Bioengineering). - The education of the applicant, based on previous academic studies and degrees, must state the degree project or work experience in research or research-related areas. - The education of the applicant should include at least 30 ECTS credits in the fields of biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc. The grade point average in these subjects must be at least 60% of the maximum possible. - Applicants with an overall grade average of at least 70% are eligible for admission. - Applicants must submit a motivational letter for the study programme and one academic reference. All the applicants that meet the entry requirements will be invited to a motivational interview. The interview will be held remotely and will take place on 14 – 18 April or 17 – 21 June 2025. During the interview each applicant will be evaluated in 10-point scale on the following criteria: programme selection factors; perspective vision of your professional life; English language skills. Interviewed applicants will be ranked, and the best candidates will be selected. Important: additional country-specific requirements are set only for the following countries which you can find HERE (STEP 2) The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Lithuanian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Translation is considered to be official when it is bound together with the certified true copy of the original document and is confirmed by the translator’s signature. Documents issued in English, Lithuanian must be certified true copies and do not require translation. Overview
The aim of this program is to train professionals who would like to experience of what studying a doctorate might be, whilst at the same time allowing them to earn a high valuable masters level qualification for the carrier in the industry. The uniqueness of the program is a study based on individual interdisciplinary specialization according to the student’s interests through projects in laboratories and individual contact hours (mentoring). The graduate of this program will be able to plan and conduct a research project, understand and construct the methodology, analyze and present the results to the scientific community and society; effectively co-operate with scientists, engineers and managers; contribute to interdisciplinary teams in solving complex tasks.
