Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) N. B. for non-EU/EFTA applicants: the gap since your completed Bachelor degree should not exceed five years. Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Technological Sciences (Biotechnology) and Engineering Sciences (Bioengineering). Scientific research project or internship as part of the bachelor’s studies. Completion of at least 30 ECTS credits in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc., during the bachelor’s studies. The weighted average of the grades in these subjects must be at least 60% of the maximum possible grade. Applicants with an overall grade average of at least 70% are eligible for admission. Applicants must submit a motivational letter for the study programme and one academic reference. Applicants who meet all requirements will be invited to a motivational interview. The interview will be conducted online, with the time and date arranged individually. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. Translation is considered to be official when it is bound together with the certified true copy of the original document and is confirmed by the translator’s signature. Documents issued in English, Lithuanian must be certified true copies and do not require translation. Overview
The aim of this program is to train professionals who would like to experience of what studying a doctorate might be, whilst at the same time allowing them to earn a high valuable masters level qualification for the carrier in the industry. The uniqueness of the program is a study based on individual interdisciplinary specialization according to the student’s interests through projects in laboratories and individual contact hours (mentoring). The graduate of this program will be able to plan and conduct a research project, understand and construct the methodology, analyze and present the results to the scientific community and society; effectively co-operate with scientists, engineers and managers; contribute to interdisciplinary teams in solving complex tasks.
