Applicants for Molecular Biotechnology master programme should have a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences (Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Neurobiology) Technological Sciences (Biotechnology, Materials and Food Technology), Engineering Sciences (Bioengineering).
The selection criterion is based on the weighted average of relevant grades recorded in the transcript of the student’s academic record.
The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Russian / Lithuanian.
Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
It is required that you send verified copies of the entry qualification documents directly to the university by postal mail. Important! Never send original documents by post!

A motivation letter must be added to your application.
Applicants must submit a motivational letter explaining the selection of projects (up to 3 projects) and recommendation from two researchers. The list of proposed projects will be announced in advance. A motivational interview will be conducted on the 10-point scale. Criteria of the interview: program / project selection factors; the suitability of the student’s knowledge for the selected projects; perspective vision of your professional life; English language skills.
This program focuses on solving specific problems through projects in laboratories and individual counseling (mentoring). The uniqueness of the program is a study based on a practical experimental projects conducted in Research laboratories or Biotechnology companies. The aim of this program is to train professionals who will be able to work productively in biotechnological companies or to pursue doctoral studies.
